Justin will revamp Texas’ child support systems to reverse collection rate decreases, fix a broken department riddled with internal mismanagement, and address the program’s diminishing returns for both Texas children and taxpayers. He will responsibly and efficiently upgrade Texas’s child support system to optimize collections and ensure children and families get the support they need.
As Attorney General, Justin will create genuine change by bringing child support collection rates at least back to the levels they were under Governor Abbott. Furthermore, he will end the shameful practice of bloating the state budget while providing Texas families with an inferior service.
As Attorney General, Justin will make Texas families a priority, not special interests or wealthy campaign contributors.
