Register to Vote for the Texas Primary by February 5

Justin Nelson for Attorney General - Subtle Logo

Voting is one of our most basic, fundamental, and powerful rights as citizens. It is the backbone of our democracy. It is not partisan. I hope that each and every eligible citizen votes. March 6 is primary election day in Texas, with early voting starting even sooner. I don’t have a primary opponent, but many important races are on the ballot.

If you want to vote in the Texas primary, you must be registered by Monday, February 5. If you have voted in the past elections, you probably don’t have to do anything. But if you have moved, or if you haven’t voted recently (or at all), please check to see if you are registered — and update your status by February 5.

Make your voice count — register to vote, check your voter status, and share this information with your community.

Texas already faces low rates of voter participation when compared to other states across the country. No matter your political beliefs, please vote. If you’re already registered, share this email with your Texas friends and encourage them to check their status or register.
