Statement by Justin Nelson as he travels to campaign events in the Rio Grande Valley

“Texas Republicans and I can agree on thing: our indicted Attorney General has abused his office while putting his own interests above those of Texas families. Republican Phillip Huffines (see ad below) is right to highlight that somehow during Ken Paxton’s time as a “public servant,” his holdings went from $30,000 to $3,000,000.  Republican Sarah Davis agrees, reminding voters in her TV ad (see ad below) “Dangerous Allies” that Ken Paxton is facing two criminal charges of securities fraud for defrauding his friends and clients. We can’t allow this man to continue to be the chief law enforcement officer of our state while he himself shows so little respect for the law. We need a new Attorney General, and even elected Republicans know it”
