Justin Nelson responds to news that Ken Paxton loaned his wife $500,000 dollars for her Texas Senate campaign

“It’s embarrassing that Ken Paxton has loaned his wife’s campaign another $500,000. This makes $2.5 million total that Paxton has ‘lent’ his wife, courtesy of Austin lobbyists.

As Karen Tumulty of the Washington Post noted today, Texas could turn blue. This is especially true running against corrupt Ken Paxton, our indicted Attorney General.

We need a Texas Attorney General who will look out for everyone’s interests, not just his and his wife’s political interests.”
